The job

Conduit under a campus that stayed open

The site

Carport canopies were going up over the main parking fields, with EV chargers along the rows and battery cabinets near the electrical equipment. Employees parked there every day, and the lot was lined with mature trees and finished landscaping.

Our approach

We potholed every crossing with the hydrovac, then bored between carport columns, under drive aisles and landscape islands, and across the lawn. Sweeps and stub-ups were set at the column footings and conduit was tied in at the bore pits.

The result

Conduit went in without trenching across the parking fields. The campus kept its parking and landscaping, and the electrical contractor got conduit ready to pull wire.
